Me

I was told last January got MS and symptoms just hit me everyday and help from GP.
In struggling all time my muscles have all relaxed and in mouth. As have swallowing problems. Get bad MS hug and and itching a lot.
Can’t take light in left eye and can not get much sleep . I need the symptoms sorted as do not cope I’m 69 male
A every one says need a Neurologist yet the swing time is over 18 months
I need lots MRI scans but only to say if I got something else wrong .

    I am sorry you are dealing with an MS diagnosis. Being newly diagnosed can be such an overwhelming time.

    The wait time to see a neurologist can be long, so you may ask to be put on a cancellation list, where the office can call you if someone cancels and you may be able to get an much earlier appointment. If you are outside the USA, it may be different and please keep in mind that I noly have a basic understanding of the health care/insurances ins-and-outs in other countries. Sometimes, other doctors besides a neurologist can request an MRI for you. Also, there are many general practitioners that are quite knowledgeable on MS.

    Are you able to see any doctor or get on any medications at this time?
