MS Fatigue

I want to do so much more than I am able to do because of MS fatigue. I simply give out. My saying is “I have hit my Brick wall!” I cannot do anything more. Getting up off the commode is a chore at that point! It has taken me a long time to accomplish that at times! I miss out on grandchildren’s sports, church, special events etc

And this is my most frequent symptom with the MS my body has. This and depression.

  1. My heart goes out to you, . MS related fatigue is one of the most poorly understood symptoms of the condition. People think it's just feeling "extra tired", but it's so much more than that. And people around you just don't understand how all encompassing the fatigue can be.

I am so sorry you miss out on activities you would like to be present for. That just plain stinks.

Do you have anyone to talk to about your MS and depression? Everyone needs a safe place to vent and process their feelings. This community is happy to serve that purpose for you, but I know that online communities can't always replace have a person you can talk to in person.

    1. I hate you have to go through this. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to feel like you've hit that "brick wall" and can’t push any further. You shouldn't have to miss out on things you care about, like your grandchildren’s activities and special events. I know that's heartbreaking for you, especially when your body just won’t cooperate. The weight of dealing with fatigue and depression together is a lot to carry. It’s okay to feel upset about it—you’ve lost parts of your life that matter to you. I hope you're able to give yourself grace on those tough days and remember you're doing the best you can, even when it feels like too much. We're here for you and you're in our thoughts. Warmly, Latoya (Team Member)
