Perimenopause or MS?

Was it a heat flash?
Was it a chinook increasing the temperature overnight?
Was it overnight MS bladder?

I am too young for perimenopause is the message I am receiving.
It started when I was 36. I'm now 42. Each medical area sends to another like a call being forwarded to a dead end.

404 not found.

I am getting the sense 'its all in my head. YES the buproprion has helped in the last year. Was it perimenopause or covid anxiety in the last few years?

I am still jumping through hoops but no reward is anticipated.

  1. , ugh. I don't make everything an issue about gender, but it seems like women still frequently get the run around when it comes to healthcare. And, it seems that when doctors are stumped, they just pass you off to another specialist (and another and another)! It can be so frustrating! While you are on the young side for perimenopause, a lot of factors can play into when a woman starts the menopausal process. And, add in the stress of the past few years and frankly, it's hard to pinpoint if Covid induced anxiety is the issue or not. I mean, who wouldn't be anxious after the past few years we have been through??

I do hope you keep pushing for answers, exhausting though it may be. This piece on menopause may or may not be relatable for you, but I wanted to share it -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/ms-menopause-arms-facts. And you're definitely not alone in the "was that a perimenopause moment or an MS symptom?" game. It's not a fun game, to be sure!
