Ping pong ball

Picture your body core being hollow. When I lay down I get the sensation of a ping pong ball bouncing off the walls of my core. It’s when it hits the wall that I feel a sudden ping. Once in a while I’ll feel it in my thighs or on my face or neck. But it is mostly in my core. It doesn’t hurt. I just find it strange.

  1. Hi this must be a confusing feeling in your core. I am wondering what your doctor thinks this is? Have they been able to help you manage or stop this sensation? Jill (Team Member)

    1. When I mentioned this to my MS specialist neurologist he chuckled. He offered no suggestions or solutions. I just assumed it was so off the wall that he wasn’t going to entertain the idea of it. So I put it aside. For now. It doesn’t hurt or frighten me so I don’t worry about it. I’m like the pregnant woman who rushes to have her husband feel the baby kicking. Lol. Only I say feel! I’m making popcorn! Only it’s not popping in rapid succession so he doesn’t feel or can’t feel. I was curious if anyone else experienced this.

      1. you made me laugh. I am glad to hear you are trying to keep light of the experience, although I really do wish you had an answer for what is going on.
