Hi, !
First off, I am sorry you are dealing with this. While I have never heard of a member dealing with this exact scenario, I know other community members have shared about episodes that are similar to panic/anxiety attacks or feelings of digestive distress and lightheadedness. I know this isn't quite what you're talking about, but I wanted to share this article to see if it's even close to what you are describing -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/changed-way-experience-world. I know sometimes, system overload with MS seems to happen with seemingly no triggers. Like, you're getting ready for bed or sitting down to watch a favorite show and your body just goes . . . haywire. It's like, the minute your body feels you relax, it melts down. I don't know if that's due to your body 'holding it together' until it feels like you are in a safe space or what, but I know it's a frustrating and possibly scary experience to have on a regular basis.
Have you talked to your doctor about this? Do you experience anxiety during or before these episodes?
I do hope other community members join in here, as I know there are some folks here that can relate to what you shared!
Best, Erin, MultipleSclerosis.net Team Member.
