Symptoms before before diagnosis of RRMS

I wanted to reply to a previous post but it looked closed to comments. I had a horrible Neurologist when I was trying to find out why I had numbness and tingling in my hands and feet. After looking at my MRI's he told me the bright spots on the MRI were called UBO's or unidentified bright objects. I was so dumb and had never had any health problems so I just accepted what he had to say. After many sorts of tests, It started with an unfailed surgery for carpel tunnel syndrome followed by another failed surgery on my neck/ discectomy with bone. A couple of years with these yoyo's I finally managed to get one of the best MS Neurologist in the U.S. It started on the 4th of July. That morning while watching TV I noticed what was red I was seeing as orange. My husband asked if we should go to the ER. I said let's wait, after all it was a holiday and the ER would be full. By the time evening arrived the vision in my right eye was pretty blurry and after watching the fireworks that night I was completely blind in my right eye.
We definitely needed the ER now. I met my Neurologist at the ER. He said I had Optic Neuritis which was common in MS. I told him I had been tested for MS and was told I didn't have it. I also was told the bad Neurologist had done a spinal tap. After receiving my medical records the ER Neurologist told me I had never been tested for MS, no spinal tap to check the protein levels in my spinal cord and his UBO's theory was total B.S.
My ER Neurologist prescribed large qty's of IV Steroids for 4 days and 6 weeks later I had perfect vision again.
As a side note I noticed my thought process seemed different also.
