The long and short of it..

I had had many examples of it.. the sight problems, the sudden weakness of one side of my body.. well to put it mildly over the course of 15 years I've had many of the multiple symptoms to say you have the disease.. but no diagnosis. In 1990 I was diagnosed with it.. I had a car accident and they did a MRI of my neck and head. They found over 34 active (in one way or another) lesions. And a herniated disk (from the accident).
Then I went to the VA (as I am disabled vet) and they took another MRI to confirm what I had said. Sent to MS Doctor and put on medications.. all the shot ones.. and then to two infusions.. Tysabri and then (the one I'm on now) OCREVUS as I am now with secondary progressive MS.

  1. Hi . You have to wonder how long it might have taken to get a diagnosis if not for the accident. Is Ocrevus helping with you SPMS? Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. If not for the accident.. probably in the early 2000's. As far as the Ocrevus.. I don't know to tell you the truth.. have asked my Dr. about changing me back to Tysabri as that I didn't have any problems with it.. but he seems resistant to do that.. don't know why.. am gonna have to press him on that answer..
