How rental companies can ruin a 11k $ vacation.
Hey everyone. Sitting in front of mission space in Epcot, Disney world Florida. Got a rental from Scootaround. Horrible company, phone service but Anthony the delivery guy was real nice.
Got in Disney on a 7 day vacation. Cost a heck of a lot. Scooter was delivered and made noise like the back axel was broken. Then called them and they said if the power is working it’s fine to call back if I have electrical issues. Long story short the scooter was charging all night wired for 4 hrs and died. I charged it for an hr and it died in 20 mins. I called them back and they said it’s about right to last 5 hrs. Total scam. Never rent from them. Their customer service is dreadful, they don’t listen and don’t know how long it takes to save money.

. I am so sorry this happened to you! You shouldn't have to fight with this company, but I have had good luck posting my complaints on their social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc). I tend to get a response pretty quickly that way. Also, if all else fails, you can try contacting your local news station and see if they would do a story on your situation. Not that you want that kind of publicity, but neither does the company.
That said, I am sorry your vacation was disrupted by this company and the scooter that wasn't up to snuff. You deserved better than that.
