Pet Portrait Giveaway

Living with MS can often feel like a lonely journey. Some days, your body doesn't listen, and the fatigue is so heavy it’s hard to imagine getting out of bed. In these moments, it’s easy to feel isolated or misunderstood. But for many of us, there is a constant, furred, or feathered presence that offers a unique kind of support: our beloved pets.

These faithful friends do more than just share our space; they become a vital part of managing the emotional and physical ups and downs of MS.

Unconditional love for the hard days

One of the biggest gifts a pet gives is pure, unconditional love. They don’t see our MS, they just see us.

When you’re feeling down, that soft, warm presence curled up beside you is the best comfort in the world. Pets don't need explanations, and they never judge you for needing a rest day. That rhythmic purr of a cat on your chest or the happy thump of a dog’s tail can do wonders to lift a heavy mood.

Pets help fight the loneliness that often comes with chronic illness. They give you someone to talk to, a reason to smile, and a constant, loving companion who is always thrilled to see you, no matter how much you can or cannot do that day.

Our giveaway item

We know how much your furry, scaly, or feathered friend means to you. They are more than pets; they are family, caretakers, and lifelines.

To celebrate the amazing support our animal companions provide, we are giving away a custom 8x10 portrait of your pet, beautifully illustrated by our very own resident artist, Brooke Pelczynski! Brooke’s heartfelt art can be found all over our site.

How to enter

It's easy! In the box below that says "Tell us all about your pet here!", tell us all about your pet!

Make sure to include the following information:

1. Their name
2. What kind of animal they are
3. How they make your day a little brighter
4. If they have any funny personality traits that will help our artist properly capture their spirit
5. Make sure to include a picture of your best friend in your forum submission!

How do I find out if I won the giveaway?

The giveaway ends on 10/31/2025 at 11:59 PM ET. One person and their pet will be randomly selected as our winner and will be notified via email and with a direct message (DM) on the site. The winner has 48 hours to claim their prize before an alternate winner will be selected. For more information, please read our Terms & Conditions. Good luck!
