  1. "Fell earlier trying to go up two steps to get back in the house. I landed on my left hip and twisted my back a little bit as well. Tomorrow should be fun."

    1. Ugh, . I'm so sorry. I hate when a random fall or klutziness (I'm a klutz; I'm not suggesting you are) throws a wrench into one's day/week/month. I know what it's like when you feel the consequences of a momentary lapse in balance for days afterwards. I hope that's not the case for you!

Sending all the quick healing vibes your way!

    2. , I was stepping up two small steps to my front porch, and just lost balance. I remember taking steps back to try to catch myself, and then went down. You know how in the movies someone is holding a video camera and they fall, and they show it from the cameras point of view? That's kinda how things looked for me. Now, my back is feeling every inch of that fall.

    3. Ouch, ! That does sound painful. I hate this happened to you. What are you doing for the pain? -Latoya (Team Member)

    4. , I'm having to just tough it out. The only thing I can take is Tylenol because I take blood thinners for blood clots as well. I talked to the doctors office this morning, and they said if I'm not doing any better by Monday, I should call and get an appointment and get it checked out.

    5. I’m glad you reached out to your doctor and have a plan in place. Hopefully the Tylenol helps a bit, and if not, at least you know you have Monday set to get checked out. I'm hoping things turn around by then! -Latoya (Team Member)

    6. , I'm sorry. 🙁 I do hope your back starts feeling better and that if it isn't, you can get a quick appointment on Monday!

  2. "They are calling for about a foot of snow here this weekend. I'm hoping the power doesn't go out. At least I have a kerosene heater if it does."

    1. yes they are expecting a lot of snow this weekend. I am glad to hear you have a back up heater if the power goes out. Stay warm! Jill (Team Member)

    2. Same here in Texas. Everyone is talking about their plans for stocking up and prepping their homes. It's great that you're already preparing yourself and making sure your not negatively impacted by the weather. -Latoya (Team Member)

    3. thank you!

    4. if the power does go out, I guess I'll be hibernating like an old bear!

    5. Just make sure your cave is fully stocked with snacks! 😄 -Latoya (Team Member)

    6. , stay safe and warm! I live in the Midwest and it looks like most of the worst of it will miss us. I feel for my southern neighbors and I never make fun of communities that aren't used to having snow. I mean, us Midwesterners would melt into weeping piles of goo with the heat and humidity southerners live with come Summer!

I hope everyone stays safe and warm and is able to make the best of a less-than-ideal situation.

    7. thank you. Summers are rough. I have to stay indoors most of the time. The heat and humidity does a number on me. I'm just hoping this weekend doesn't get too bad here.

  3. "Got my results from the Octave test. Doctor said it was 2.0. Still kinda low. But things keep going wonky a lot. I have an appointment to see doctor next month."

    1. Even with a “low” number, if things feel off, they deserve to be looked into. So it’s good you’re staying on top of it and have a visit to see the doctor scheduled. Keep pushing for clarity and keep us updated! All the best, Latoya (Team Member)

    2. will do!

  4. "Went this morning to get blood drawn for the Octave test. Now just gotta wait on the results."

    1. Fingers crossed the results come back with helpful info and no surprises. If you don't mind, keep us posted when you hear back! -Latoya (Team Member)

    2. , I'm just echoing what Latoya wrote! I hope the results are helpful and I hope you have a nice weekend!

      Best, Erin, Team Member.
