It's Just a Speed Bump

I've always been the rescuer and an adrenaline junkie. It was either on the ambulance or the fire dept., our business, or with one of my kids. I live in a very remote part of Montana and living here, you have to be pretty self-reliant. Then came the MS diagnosis! 30 years as an EMT and EMS instructor. Oh well, just a speed bump. You know how God has a sense of humor. I wind up with IPT. Bigger speed bump. Unfortunately, between the MS and the platelet issue, I guess I have to slow down a little bit. Both diseases are chronic immune disorders, so God, I'm listening. Thank you for giving me my funny, loving husband for over 40 years. I could have never made it through everything without him.
