MS Life

Well, my story begins, I believe, back in my teenage years when I rarely had proper behavior and decision skills. It wasn't until reaching adulthood that the brain lesions were found, and everything started making sense to me.

My struggles

I struggle getting up and down my stairs and doing housework. When I overdo it, I get horrible leg and cramps in odd places of my body. I still am not on a preventative as they weren't sure if I had NMO or MS because of positive aquaporin antibody tests and the location of my brain lesions. So, I still relapse quite a bit and often have pseudo flare-ups. Bladder problems and blurry vision have become the new normal for me.

I refuse to give up

I pray they find a way to detect these diseases faster. I qualified for a caregiver in-home, but they have no one to send to my home, so I am without help and have severe fatigue and body aches every day. My fiance passed a few years ago, and in came the depression that I have gotten treated for. I need help! Smh (shaking my head). It's hard at times, but I refuse to give up.
