aging with MS

I was diagnosed with MS in 1980. I am retired now. I was an ICU nurse. I take Ocrevus with out any problems. What is your opinion on taking these medications till death? Do we ever get a medicine break?

Thank you,
Susan

  1. Hi . Some people take MS medications throughout their lives. Others discontinue them for several reasons, usually because their MS is no longer progressing, their MS is progressing despite medication, they can no longer afford it or they simply want to see how they will fare without it. Every MS journey is different, so it is hard to say whether it will ever stop being beneficial for you. Do you feel Ocrevus is helping you now? Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Thanks Lori, I know it is an individual decision. I'm just whining. I am so thankful for the medications. I have been on medication since 1995. Betaseron and Ocrevus. 20 grams of Solu-medrol. Plus working ICU shifts. I did ALOT of unconventional treatment! Giving Betaseron every day because I was working.
      Thanks Lori for responding
