Can MS cause a persistent feeling of "butterflies in your stomach"?

Hi , while I've never heard of that specific symptom, anything is possible. When you deal with the brain and nervous system, any sort of sensation is possible. It would be best to get it check out though, as it's not typically mentioned as an MS symptom.

, I've seen a few references in some MS articles where muscles twitches are described as butterfly type movements. Muscles spasms can occur in the stomach so butterflies movements in the stomach could occur with MS. Donna Steigleder, Moderator
