Diagnosed

I worked in the oil industry for 38 years, I was working in a alberta BC area. Black out and was taken in to the hospital. Never found anything. But my work said getting a doctor's note saying you are fit for work. Went home and started testing, never found anything until I had a MRI. They found ms. I was immediately put on cpp and retired. Now for 5 years i get infusions every 6 months. And have had multiple COVID and flu shots. Now live alone and can't date because of my M.S. go figure.

  1. That’s a huge life shift to go through. It can feel like MS just came out of no where and changed so much within a blink of an eye. It’s crazy how the MRI finally gave answers after nothing else did. Living with MS, staying on top of infusions, and trying to protect your health is already enough stress without having to navigate it solo. But MS doesn’t have to define you, it’s just one part of your story. Just know that there are others who’ve been through it too, and you can still find ways to enjoy life and connect with people along the way. Starting here 🙂 Be encouraged, Latoya (Team Member)
