Dizzy

Is there anything that takes away MS dizziness?

  1. We have an article on our site dedicated to the issue of dizziness. It includes some potential ways to treat it, though we recommend talking with your doctor. You can view the article here: https://multiplesclerosis.net/symptoms/dizziness-vertigo.

    1. Hi . Dizziness can be so frustrating and debilitating. Have you talked with your neurologist about it to be sure it's MS-related? It's always good to rule out other causes even for common MS symptoms, especially if they are new to you. There are cardiac and ear issues that can cause dizziness or make MS dizziness worse. I hope you get lots of input here and some relief. Gentle hugs. - Lori (Team Member)

      1. I struggle with this too and it's not vertigo for me. They tried me on Meclizine with no success. My physical therapist has really been the only one to be correct for me as it seems to be a connection between the body and brain and for me happens when my body is telling my brain it's tired time to rest wether it just be sitting for a bit drinking some water or maybe even a nap sometimes but it's helped to just listen to when my body is telling me it's tired. Hope this helps.

        1. Hi . I am glad you found a therapist who made that connection. MS symptoms definitely worsen with stress, so that makes sense. Thanks for chiming in. Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)
