One day, my hand suddenly went numb, and a few seconds later, the left side of my body—even my face—lost sensation, and I fell to the ground.
I was taken to the emergency room, and after receiving a mild sedative, I regained some feeling.
The first doctor said I was just weak.
The second doctor thought it might be related to my spine, possibly a herniated disc, but an MRI ruled that out.
Right now, I’m in the process of being evaluated for MS.
My main problem is that I don’t have control over my left side; I need several times more strength to lift my left hand.
Tomorrow, I’m scheduled for an MRI with contrast injection.
