How does the new $2,000 max out of pocket Joe Biden plan work?

Sorry, haven't heard about this. Just trying to get thru open enrollment period (again) as I've found out today that my current plan is not going to provide transportation in 2025. News to me. Finding a plan to cover MRIs turns out to be difficult, too. You've given me an interesting topic to research. I'll post here if I figure it out. Good luck--somebody here is bound to know.

There is nothing more frustrating than wrapping one's head around insurance issues. I hope you can sift through it all and not only make some sense of it but find the best coverage for you. ~Doreen (Team Member)

Thanks.. it's confusing at best.
The thought of having a $2,000 a year cap for prescription drugs seems like a dream come true.
I'm sure there are a variety of caveats that I have not addressed.

From what I understand, there was restrictions on what the drug plan will cover that ends on December 31, 2024. Supposedly, starting in 2025 all Medicare plans were to include a $2,000 cap on out of pocket prescription drugs. However, we'll have to wait and see what will happen under the new regime.
