Itching all over & pins and needles

Hello!
I have itching all over! I mean, all over. So, when the dr recommends cream, I'm like, I'd have to use an entire tube in one application. Plus, I have random pins and needles feeling poking all over. Gabapentin isn't doing anything.
Recommendations?
Thanks

  1. That unrelenting itch can be hard to endure, ! Since the cause of your itching may be nerve related, it makes sense that topical solutions may just not cut it. We have a few articles and discussions on the topic of MS and itching and how to deal with it, and here's one I refer back to a lot -- https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/crazy-itch-just-cant-satisfy. The author of the article shares a few treatment options, including gabapentin, which I know you mentioned wasn't working for you. Hopefully, some of the other tips will give you some options to consider AND that you get some relief from the itching very soon!

    1. I have that occasionally. A benadryl does the trick but of course you can only take it in the evening because it will knock you out.
