It's not a Stroke!

Since 1992, evey once in a while I get the feeling in which I cannot feel one half of my face.
If I divide my face in half vertically, one side of my face would go numb.
Not a stroke because the numbness is not typical of stroke symptoms.
I could put my palm on my face and move it a felt like thick leather that I could not feel.

That's the weirdest thing I ever experienced while my daily adventure goes on with MS.

  1. That had to be pretty disconcerting the first couple of times it happened, I assume, ! Have your doctors offered any explanation as to why this happens? Do you notice any patterns or triggers to these episodes? I hope these episodes don't last especially long.

Thanks for sharing your "weird" MS symptom. I think it really helps when community members share the quirky and weird symptoms they experience that may not be mentioned in the doctor's office or in the MS literature. It helps others not feel so lonely when they realize the symptoms they experience that stump doctors are not so unusual after all.
