My Invisible MS story

"On the outside, I may look like I am just sitting still, but on the inside, my body is a war zone of invisible symptoms.
The hardest part to explain to others is the 24/7 electric buzz that hums through my entire body, paired with a relentless, non-stop pain that has no 'off' switch. It’s like being plugged into a faulty outlet every second of the day, needless to say It's EXHAUSTING!! On top of that, I deal with a deep neuropathic itch that can't be itched!! Spasticity that makes my limbs feel like lead, and a vertigo that makes the world feel like a rocking boat even when I’m lying down, spinning spinning spinning!
I describe it to my family as 'nerve static'—a constant, exhausting background noise that never quietens.
But even on the days when my body tells me it can’t go another step, my heart tells me otherwise. We keep going because our spirit is stronger than our symptoms. We keep going for our families, for the moments of joy we refuse to let MS steal, and because our purpose is bigger than our pain. My body might be tired, but my heart is still in the lead, and that is why I never stop moving forward." EVER!!
