WAS I MISS DIAGNOSED?

DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE LESIONS INORDER TO HAVE MS?

  1. Hi thanks for reaching out. An MRI with lesions does not mean you definitely have MS. For a final MS diagnosis, a doctor will typically use a physical exam and questions about your medical history and order other tests like blood work or a spinal tap for diagnosis. Check out this article here: https://multiplesclerosis.net/clinical/what-are-lesions. I would definitely share your concerns with your doctor and get a second opinion if needed. Please keep us posted. Jill (Team Member)
