In regards to the story Beggars Can Be Choosy, I totally agree with the author that women with MS are seen as damaged, even by themselves. I felt that way for the longest, I felt that no one would ever love me again.

A man who totally changed my life

Then I met a young man who totally changed my life. Now when I say opposites attract, I mean it. He was 22 at the time and I was 54, he is White and I am Black, he is very much in shape and I'm not. When I met him, it has been three years ago now, despite him harassing me, I kept telling him I would not go out with him. I finally relented because he was getting on my nerves. I'm glad I did. We have been together ever since.

Exactly where I'm supposed to be

What will the future hold for us? I have no idea and neither does anyone else. What I do know is for three years I have enjoyed what I have had and I am exactly where I supposed to be in this place in time.
