diagnosing info
Is it possible to have MS and be screened to early to spot it? MS and Parkinsons were the of the first things ruled out for me about 4 years ago but the more I read of dialogue here and friends with symptoms the more there is an awful lot of overlap with MS. Should I get screened again? Does it always show up the same way? Thank you.

! If you have any doubts about your diagnosis, you have every right to seek a second opinion or push for further/new testing. It is possible to not have lesion damage show up in an MRI, for a variety of reasons. And since Parkinson's and MS are both lifelong conditions, getting proper diagnosis and treatment is important. Thank you. I lost both my neuromuscular specialists before I could ask them to revisit the MS connection. I'm positive for Peripheral Nerve Hyperexcitability so that's what they looked at after my first neurologist said no MS early on.

Thank you again. We'll look into this. I was told neuromyotonia is a cousin to MS and Parkinson's... maybe more like kissing cousins. Lol.
It would be my life pattern to end up with both! But somehow it seems we're missing something. I'll let you know how it goes.
