loneliness, isolation

All of us strongly disabled are affected personally, including 73-year-old me. I detect no discussions here dealing with psychic crises. All I hear is "Get help" yet neither society nor isolation provide none. In short, all people need love, and too many must believe it against the truth. This cry is louder with any disability.

  1. Hi I am so glad you reached out and that you have found our community to share so openly and honestly with. I can hear how hard this is for you. I did want to share a few stories from our members that discusses the challenges of loneliness and some ways they found help: https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/tips-coping-loneliness, https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/the-loneliness-of-ms, and https://multiplesclerosis.net/living-with-ms/the-hurt-and-loneliness-of-living-with-multiple-sclerosis. I hope that knowing that our community understands and that you are always welcome here to share, vent, ask questions, etc.. can some how be comforting to you. Please keep us posted with how you are doing. Jill (Team Member)

    1. This kind of struggle doesn’t get talked about enough, and it should. You’re not the only one feeling this way, even if it feels that way sometimes. Thanks for putting words to something so many deal with but keep quiet about. You deserve to be loved, understood, and seen. And I hope you get that here. Stay encouraged, Latoya (Team Member)
